Studio Cadre + FOX Searchlight

The team at Searchlight required extra oomph to break through the opening weekend noise for their feature film, Patti Cake$. The lead character, Patricia Dombrowski, is aiming for a rags-to-riches rapper narrative; our job was to create a piece that would connect the film - and her legit flow - with digital rap culture & outlets. Cadre took an expertly delivered rap scene from the film and reimagined it as a super-stylized lyric video (and won a few Clios while we were at it...)
